Send your Get Well messages to Tom

We have a status update on the medical condition of Tom Lambert following his ordeal at the hands of 'The Bollywood Dream' RJ Singh last Saturday night at XWA Goldrush.

Tom has been diagnosed with a severe concussion, two broken ribs and a compressed disc in his neck, following the five consecutive Sweet Bollywood Dreams he had to take from Singh during his first ever wrestling match on Saturday.

Despite these injuries, we have been told by sources close to the Lambert family that Tom is physically well enough to be released from hospital. However, it is Tom's emotional and mental state which is causing doctors most concern. We understand that Tom has not spoken to anyone since Saturday night. He refuses to talk to doctors, nurses, or friends and family who have visited him. We understand that doctors are keeping him in hospital for the time being, because they believe he may be suffering from some form of post traumatic stress disorder and could be in need of psychiatric evaluation or counselling.

It seems the events of Saturday night, when Tom's cousin Greg 'The Truth' Lambert refused to throw the towel in and save his relative from the Singh beating, have had a profound effect not just on Tom's battered body, but also on his state of mind. He must feel embarrassed, humiliated and utterly, utterly betrayed by his own flesh and blood.

We at the XWA website feel absolutely terrible about what has happened to Tom, especially having watched the heartless Greg's first interview since Goldrush - where he made his reasons for his actions crystal clear and showed absolutely no remorse. So we felt we had to do something.

So we are inviting all XWA fans to send their Get Well messages to Tom Lambert through our website.

We will send all of them on to the hospital and try to make sure that Tom reads them. We hope that your love and support for Tom will help him with his recovery.

Show Tom you care.
