The top three students in the XWA Training Centre are Axl Rage, JD Sassoon and Jynkz. Last year the obnoxious Rage and Sassoon formed an alliance with Team RockStar and became Blond Jovi, the "best backing group in British Wrestling today" while the mysterious Jynkz forged his own path. Judging by our latest video, the rivalry between Blond Jovi and Jynkz is growing by the day...
Here is the background to this simmering feud. At XWA Student Show I, Rage cost Jynkz his chance to win the Best of the North West Cup. At XWA Student Show II, Jynkz defeated Rage despite the presence of biased 'special referee' Sassoon. Then at XWA Goldrush, Jynkz enjoyed a spectacular XWA debut by eliminating both members of Blond Jovi from the Goldrush rumble. Rage gained a vicious measure of revenge the following week at XWA Student Show III when he brutally re-injured Jynkz's knee with the Raging Climax inverted figure-four, then captured the Best of the North West Cup later that night into the bargain. Jynkz has since been rehabbing his knee and recently, on the XWA website, we speculated that the Warpainted Wonder might be ready in time to wrestle at War on the Shore on Saturday April 3 at The Carleton. Two men have taken issue with this viewpoint. They are Axl Rage and JD Sassoon - Blond Jovi.
