British Wrestling is entering an exciting new era, an era where top UK promotions like XWA and the FWA are working together in coalition to drive the British scene to new heights, where an online weekly TV show showcasing the best talent this country has to offer is really turning heads, and where a governing body is establishing a clear and safe path for young wrestlers to climb within the industry. XWA Vendetta captured the spirit of all these things. It was definitely a very different and revolutionary show for the XWA, featuring the debut of fresh young talent such as Nathan Cruz and the XWA students, the first ever XWA ladder match, and a main event where a controversial 'Ascension' - one which threatens to take the XWA and British Wrestling to the kind of dark places it has never previously explored - came to the fore, at Johnny Phere's expense...

XWA War on the Shore VI, Saturday April 3 2010, The Carleton, Morecambe Change was in the air as the XWA entered a new era and moved to a brand new home of The Carleton in Morecambe. Fabulous music videos, new lights, smoke and a buzzing capacity crowd left no doubt in anyone's mind that as far as the XWA is concerned - The Future is indeed Now! But change has a nasty habit of causing casualties. And change can also leave an extremely bad taste in the mouth. The apocalyptic events at the conclusion of XWA War on the Shore VI left 'The Psychotic Warrior' Johnny Phere as an absolutely furious casualty, and the stunned XWA fans tasting the rotten stench from a decision that will rock British Wrestling to its very core. But according to the new British Heavyweight Champion - yes, that's right, the NEW British Heavyweight Champion Alex Shane and the XWA owner Greg 'The Truth' Lambert, we all must respect that decision.
